Stadip Color

SGG STADIP COLOR is a coloured laminated glass, comprising at least two sheets of glass bonded together with a coloured Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) interlayer.

Various shades can be created by combining different coloured interlayers.

Applications

In facades, SGG STADIP COLOR presents alternative architectural design features, bringing transparency and colour to facades, without introducing a reflective quality and enabling vision and translucent spandrel areas to be coordinated. It also filters up to 99% of UV radiation and improves the solar control performance of the glazing.

In interiors, the richness of the SGG STADIP COLOR range of colours renders it an ideal material for any application where a particular transparent or translucent colour is required: glazed partitions, doorways, light wells, false ceilings, atria, overhead glazing, guarding, stair treads, floor panels, furniture.

Glazing

SGG STADIP COLOR must be installed in accordance with current national regulations.

SGG STADIP COLOR must be glazed the same way as SGG STADIP glass .

Architects and installers are particularly requested to note the following points:

• certain colours must not be used in exterior applications. Please contact us for more information,
• for external use, please contact SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS to assess the thermal safety of the application and to determine whether toughened laminated glass is required (a laminated assembly with 2 sheets of SGG SECURIT),
• due to the method of fabrication, there may be slight variations in appearance between face 1 and face 2 of the assembly. In cases where SGG STADIP COLOR has a preferred viewing side, it will be indicated by a label on the glass for glazing purposes,
• for optimum strength and performance, SGG STADIP COLOR, like SGG STADIP, should always be fully framed in any application,
• the mechanical performance of SGG STADIP COLOR is stable at temperatures between 10 and 45 °C inside the glazing.
